Health for the Future began as Hemp for the Future — a pioneering conference platform founded in Iceland to open honest conversations about plant medicine, cannabis, and natural health.

It has grown into something larger.

The Experience

Health for the Future is designed as an experience — not just an event.

The summit is built around interaction, participation, and human connection. Expect curated panels and workshops, wellness experiences woven into the program, space for genuine networking, and the kind of atmosphere that only Iceland can offer.

Throughout the summit, experiential moments are integrated into the program — including laughter yoga, sound healing, and guided conversations — designed to create openness, presence, and authentic connection.

The Venue: IÐNÓ — Culture House by the Pond

Vonarstræti 3, 101 Reykjavík

Built in 1897, Iðnó is one of Reykjavík’s oldest and most storied buildings — originally the headquarters of the Reykjavík Craftsmen Association, and home to Iceland’s first professional theatre company, Leikfélag Reykjavíkur, founded that same year. It sits right on Tjörnin, the City Pond, directly across from Reykjavík City Hall in the heart of downtown.

Recently voted Best Live Music Venue 2026 by Reykjavík Grapevine, Iðnó remains one of the city’s most beloved cultural venues today.
